Ballad Mouthpiece

Ever have a gig that called for flugelhorn on one tune? With our new Ballad mouthpiece you can leave the flugelhorn at home and just take an extra mouthpiece! We designed this mouthpiece with an extra large throat and extra deep cup depth to get as close to a flugelhorn sound as possible without sacrificing playability. The difference in sound must be heard to be fully appreciated - incredibly dark and rich and will turn a bright trumpet dark and a dark trumpet into a near flugelhorn sound. Sound/Video samples will be uploaded soon but in the meantime feel free to try one out on your own. Sizes are available in .640, .650 and .660. Half increments and additional sizes available as a custom order.
